Would You Buy This Guitar Display Cabinet?

Overlay Euro hinges, no style. it's a basic cabinet with guitar hangers.

I have nothing but respect for shop time and skill value...

It's a homemade piece that requires 2 people to move it, must be bolted to the wall, holds 5 guitars/basses and the seller wants $1900 for it. I doubt he'll get that, if it even sells at all. Usually display cabinets have doors to protect the instruments from dust and keep them humidified. Might as well just buy a multi-guitar stand.

Would I pay that much? No. But I play instruments. I don't display them to be admired.
Will someone else? Most likely.

Is it worth that much? To someone, absolutely!

In New England "dated" is good. Unless you are "one of those people" who put up McMansions and fill them with black aluminium and white rugs. The post with the beveled mirror looks like the arts and crafts oak table and mirror I got from my grandparents house and that's exactly why it's honored.
As too the subject at hand, I'd offer $300 maybe if it was moved by someone else, but it only fits guitars so I'm out.

It's better than anything I could build, but I don't understand the value of the cabinet space under the guitars. That is a lot of real estate that could be better used for something than a very specific sized amp or 4.

My instruments take up enough room as it is, I don't need to introduce that space-hog into the equation. Kinda fugly too, imo. Moving, setup ... hard pass.
