What it really comes down to is this: The Bongo CAN sound just like the Jazz (if/when you want it to). No Jazz (stock) can EVER sound like a Bongo at it's best. Hope the Bongo's owner doesn't see this thread before you can make the deal...

Can you describe how the Bongo can sound like a jazz in terms of settings? I'm curious to try it
