Wounded Paw - Attack Goat Bass Fuzz

great clips, Burgermeister. This is the closest to what I've been looking for, I think. I've liked the sounds and what I've read of the MXR blowtorch, but I haven't found any clips as extensive as yours for the goat, on that pedal.

Sorry if I missed this, but does this pedal have a true bypass?

Right now im just running thru/trying to destroy my little 15W practice combo, mostly cus I've "rediscovered" the beauty of sound out of an actual speaker.

After I get a bunch of $$$ together im gonna drop some of it on an avatar b410, and a qsc rmx2450 to power it. At that point im gonna run the pod as a preamp using the tube amp model. Then about a month later, when ive payed off the power amp and cab, ill drop some more $$$ on an ashdown abm rpm-1.

At that point the POD will be on the chopin' block :D and ill finally be free of the digital moddeling stuff for good.

When i get the pre ill prolly drop the 120 bucks for the Attack Goat. Prolly the only effect im gonna get for a while. Ive always liked distortions, especially when coming up with new ideas, and one with a blend perfectly fits that ability imo. It also makes practicing go by a little more enjoyebly sometimes too. I still plan on practicing without it every once in a while just to keep an ear out for mistakes in my technique.

Plus if i ever form/get into a band with just one guitarist, I figure i can stomp on this thing to give the illusion of a second guitar while he solos/wanks/plays with himself... :p

Ive actually been practicing my chops seriously and am quite pleased at how im progressing. I also realize that I didn't have that many chops to loose in the "year of WoW" I had.

Stupid WoW, and its stupid addictingness..... :P

Now back to our original topic.... :p :D

in a loud band setting, would using the blend make it so that only the clean tone will really be noticeable, while the distortion gets lost? i listened to a murdersquad track that the guy who made this said the attack goat was involved in, and it sounded kinda like that to me.

^ unfortunatly that happens a lot, unless there is a lot of sonic room left for the bass fuzz (muse's "hysteria" for a common example), or the fuzz is really promonint in the right midrange of frequencys

Plus, if you set the pedal for unity gain, i believe you're bass will sound lower in volume if the fuzz is eaten up by the guitars etc., which is why I say id turn it on if there was only one guitar in a band I was in, and he/she (i would prefer "she" :p) was off soloing.

this is what i was kind of afraid of. So it seems like it may have to be all or nothing with distortion.
