I've owned one of these for about 6 months and I love it. Not much tonal range and yes,like a T-bird it nosedives. But it's neck-through with a super thick bridge and active pickups. The neck is incredibly and the reverse headstock is pretty cool, right?

I recently got thrown outta a music store for laughing when I asked to see their good basses. He handed me one of these, plugged it in and I played it.

I just giggled. He looked at me like I was crazy - maybe I am for having been in that store in the first place and being given that bass.

I asked him where the Fenders were, and he threw me outta the store.

i bought that baby in black and white, yea, more than 2000EUR, but worth it... looks just awesome. i used to have thunderbird too, but compared to the ESP they are just toys for kids. all hardware, all tiny details are 100 perfect on the Phoenix B-II...
Im gonna sell it thou, cause lately i found an even better sounding bass for myself, an ESP Viper, wich has a better character in tone (for me).
so anyone wants to buy this for cheap, just hook me up
