you should go for it, that's cool that you thought of it and I'd like to see pics of the bass once you've made your selection and finished it.
I can't decide about the White PG. I'm leaning to keep it off.... Which way should I go?

but,,
you gotta wrap those pickguards with the same wrap, make 'em dissapear, or else none at all

off for the thunderbird pickguard. what would be really cool is if you would wrap your pickup cover and tugbar with either miniature flags, or just one red and one blue. that'd be awesome.
Amazing work! I'd consider doing this to a bass as well.
I actually Photoshopped a similar idea a while back. I added the design to the pickguard, and it looks great.

haha, at first I thought your were kidding!! I learned something new... I never heard of "Chickenhead" knobs.

Would it be possible to do a nice looking Paisley wrap? I want to refinish my J bass, but I want to save all the weeping and gnashing of teeth!
