Any change in tone & sustain ?
I’m sure they use the finest tone plastic when wrapping a bass.

Any change in tone & sustain ?
So I decided to get my bass wrapped and being a bit of a Batman Fanboy especially The Killing Joke, there could only be one image for the wrap. The bass was originally a 1989 Ibanez SR800LE but had been modded with EMGX pups and a custom pick guard before I bought it.
The wrap is just the front of the bass and the back is still gloss black along with the headstock and neck.
I appreciate it might not be to everyone's taste but then life would be boring if we all liked the same thing. The wrap is also very easy to take off if I ever sold it.

Excuse the wallpaper but we rent and the landlord likes it........very 80's and don't tell him that I've drilled holes in the wall for guitar mounts.
What material was used? Who did the work? What was the procedure?
(I tried reading through the thread for those answers and didn't see them.)
Looks excellent. I have a companion to it...

Sorry, not to derail thread, but I'm starting a 5 string med scale P/J project soon, what pickups are you using?

I took a look...they make it seem pretty straightforward. And cost is reasonable.I've done a few with the help of Skin Your Skunk.
