It looks like he did a fret job and dug out the frets with a screwdriver or something. Anyway, it looks like he then used Bondo or wood putty to smooth over the Damage and then sanded it down. It has an interesting look. I don’t particularly like it, but I’m sure somebody out there will absolutely love it.

The neck reminds me of roached out pictures I found in our storage room outside. Gross.
I don't get people making relics. I like my basses to have natural wear, not fake.

The neck is definite pass for me. The body looks pretty good though.
I visually love the fingerboard!
As long as it's not lumpy, scratchy, or some other kind of not perfectly smooth feel, I dig it. The black pick guard on that dark stained wood looks pretty dope too. Only thing I'm not stoked about is the double string retainer thingys on the headstock.

This bass is an offense to those who think every bass should have paint.
