WTH did this guy do to this Bass???

I love (note the rolling of eyes :rolleyes:) these bits from the ad copy;
Light pine body with old cask-like finish, the neck and the fretboard are made in one piece of maple that is oil finished on the relic'd areas, this finish makes the neck more "sliding" to the touch.
Like the "speed holes" from The Simpsons, he implies he's made an amazing improvement that makes it worth the jacked up price.
The only aestethic blemish: the headstocks shows the two traces of the previous string trees, as for the rest everything it works fine.
The "only" blemish?! Are you flippin' kidding me?!?! o_O

I'm all about DIY mods and improvements, but that's been taken way too far!
