Close up!

I had the chance to try out the black prototype at the Yamaha offices in Madrid, Spain. I need some more time to check the sound and every detail but so far I can tell that the new neck to body connection really reflects on the sound...the sustain and resonance are just amazing on this bass, besides the neck really feels a bit lighter.

Great pics. Nice to hear about the neck weight. Did you get to try it with a strap?

I was all set to go with the blue but that black looks really nice as well.

Greetings all, i have been interested in one of these basses for the last 2 years. I have never played one and they are difficult to find. I have medium sized hands and feel comfortable on EBMM sterling necks and some jazz style necks. Can anyone comment on what the neck is like? Anyone with medium or small hands own a Ltd 2 and find it comfortable?

I own 2 EBMM Sterlings and a LTD II (seafoam green) and the neck is much fatter on the Billy bass. More like a P bass neck. I have medium size hands and I am ok on it, but you will feel a big difference between them.

Attitudes have glorious BAF necks ( big ass fat ).

Necks are bigger than traditional P-Bass necks.
