yes, Billy has seen pics of it in most stages of its development and has approved of the project. I have plans this summer to take it to California to get him to play it and compare it to his original WIFE bass.
Just looked through this thread (once again), just to remind myself not to get any other P-bass - they would just be a substitute and temporary until I get an Attitude. I've been a Billy Sheehan fan for years, and a month ago finally decided to get an Attitude bass. I still have some other gear to sell before I have the budget surplus to go shopping, but damn this is harder than I thought.
The local Yamaha dealer hasn't returned my inquiry about the availability and price of the final Ltd. II -series, and the new Ltd. III Series would cost as much as a full custom instrument (which I really can't justify right now).
So, I will have to go for the used market, which is better because what I would like to get is either the Ltd. I in Blue, or the Ltd. II in black or in the classic Seafoam Green. These pop up on Ebay occationally, but the latest price hike on the new models is driving used prices up also.. the last two I saw on ebay cost as much as new MIA Fender P..

I know how you feel. After I sold my seafoam Att LTDII I decided I wanted to replace it. I have a daily routine where I scan all my favorite sources for any bass I'm interested in.
The Attitude Limited model is few and far between on the used market. It took me a bit over two months to land a really nice deal on used Black Attitude LTD3.
A few months ago I missed out on a fantastic deal on a purple Attitude 10th Anniversary... but I had no cash at the time.
Living in Finland, it's got to be even tougher to get your hands on an Attitude.

I know how you feel. After I sold my seafoam Att LTDII I decided I wanted to replace it. I have a daily routine where I scan all my favorite sources for any bass I'm interested in.

Actually, there was a blue Ltd. I on sale in the UK about a month ago, which I naturally missed because I didn't have the dough then.. but I'm keeping a close eye on the European market, the currency rates being what they are. The Attitudes are rare, but they pop up every once and a while, so I expect I'll be able to land one eventually.

I enjoyed the entire video. Nice playing on the LTD2... but you really show some skills on the Jazz bass which also sounds fantastic.
Yes I did it was INCREDIBLE.... I had Sheehan play and compare my WIFE replica to his.. He really enjoyed it and thanked me many times for the work I put into it.
It was a blast
