gustobassman...So, you got peledog's 425 I see! He has/had Yamaha Club number 321, so I wonder if he's still a member???

Anyway, there are only two significant differences between the 415 and 425 models. The 425 has through-the-body stringing and has a laminate neck with maple & mahogany(?).

I have a wineburst 415 and really like playing it. It's my backup to my Cirrus 5.

Ok. gotcha. I think it's maple and Nato (?). I'm digging the B string on this thing. the little tweak that Yamaha did to the bridge to accent the B is great... now if fender would just do it...

I have a question for you Yamaha guys... I have an old BBG5 that looks just like this...

GC sells this case for the Nathan East signature model, which looks to be similar in size/shape to the BBG5...

Does anyone know if it will fit? The case I have it in now is a generic Fender P/J sized case and it doesn't quite fit correctly. My local store doesn't have it in stock, so I can't run the bass by for a test fit.

My main bass is a Yamaha RBX-775 I bought new in 2003.

I am thinking about getting a "Six-Banger" and a RBX-6, TRB-6 or TRB-1006 are all on my short list!

hi! can i join? here are my two lovely 90's taiwanese BBN4III lefties. the first one i got in 1999, i bought it from the yamaha rep while i was working in a music shop. i used that in the british metal band earthtone9 who i played with briefly! the other one i just picked up on ebay for about £120 including shipping from ireland. both are in good condition and i made some light cosmetic alterations!
