I love the DR coated strings and usually use the black beautys but they were out, I needed new strings and well the rest is history.. I will have black ones on there soon enough just waiting for them to come in

My first (and for now only) bass is Yamaha RBX 760A. Very good looking, excellent slap sound... My only grip is the neck. Very slim, yet at the same time very wide (feels almost like a 5 string) and its hard to dial in a low action. Other than that, it was very worth of the money I spent on it, and great first bass.

Made a trade for this RBX800af. Owner said he bought it new and it's been in it's case for about 15 years. Other than the inside of the case smelling very funky I'm very happy with it. The woodgrain isn't really coming through on these morning photos. I'll try again some late afternoon in nicer light.

It has a new set of roundwounds on it which I definitely need to switch to Flats, but other than that it's Mwahtastic.

As the previous owner of the BB3000s mentioned above, let me just say it's a fantastic instrument. I would have already bought it back had I not purchased the identical bass, now starring in my avatar, to previously replace it.

Great sound, feel, and absolutely STICKS to tape, or in my case, hard drive. You won't be disappointed.

Left handers like it, it doesn't slip off ther legs!

PS. My version of this bass has one of the best flame maple necks i have ever seen!!! you don't see this type of wood on custom shop gear.
