YBA200 Sound Clips

I really don't think you're going to get much use out of the sound clips...you can't really appreciate this amp until it's blowing your face off at close range.

I have a YBA200 and it's sick...gets dirty very much like a classic SVT (really nice smooth breakup) but has a rounder, tighter bottom end (more like a newer SVT) and can stay clean if you want (something vintage SVT can't do). I used it with a compact 15 (no horn) and it nails the Ampeg Portaflex tone. Hooked up to a more modern 4x10, it sounds as clean as my Alembic F1X w/SS power amp (with slightly slower response but fatter tone).

It's small & light for an all-tube design (41 lbs) and it's really well built. I'm selling mine because it's overkill for home recording and my back aches from lifting my two kids constantly. :)

Hope you end up getting one...you won't regret it!

BWAHAHA!!! :D

Since they're 2.5 and 9 mos, that amp will be long gone by the time they're strong enough to lift it (replaced by scads of other equally fantastic amps). But good idea for those with older kids...

As for option #2, no one has enough $$$ to pay what they're worth.

Two options spring to mind:
1) Train the children to roadie the amp for you.
2) Sell the children.

I'm hard, but I'm devious. :D
