Me too! Friends got one in a t45 peavey , thing rips and lays down a mean growl.
I'm surprised. I know a lot of guys here hate relic basses. I just look at it as another art form.
I think they look better me! i'm going to steal what you have done and make a poor effort at it myself...
Good Job Laad!
Heck, I'd even take a Haggie pickup ! Those old Hags sound cool, and IIRC, that's what inspired the DS.
I would almost kill for an old hag:ninja jkBut thats interesting they inspired DS pickups , man i do learn something everyday!
Not bad for a days work.![]()
Seriously though that is awesome!
Very impressive. What's even more impressive is that no one's given you any flack about the decal (it happens).
I really like the slotted p/g screw in the corner.
Speaking of decals...
Gee, I hate to be the lone dissenter; I'm certainly not against relic robs, and you certainly did a good job of it, but I liked the look of it better beforehand. Oh well. Play it in good health.
Job well done. I really like the way that looks. I recently picked up 51 P reissue that I would like to something similar to do. How did you strip off the poly finish?
