All pickles are welcome in my home.
Whole, sliced, and with other condiments.

You call this a divisive poll but it doesn't say anything about Hawaiian pizza.
I voted carrots, because there is more to "pickle" than fermented cucumbers.
Pickled onions are yummy. Pickled carrots are delicious. Pickled beets are my favorite diner side when available.
And there's all manner of fantastic pickles at Indian grocery stores. When I think of my late grandmother's cooking, I think of lime pickle.
In other words, to quote the guy on that old show Mythbusters, "I reject your reality and substitute my own!"

This is absolutely true. I have grown dill in my back yard for years and years and not one single plant has ever produced a pickle!
