Double Bass Yet another tuner post

I haven't had too many problems with the snarks(clip on) for both bass guitar and the double. I situate it in between the E and A tuners on the peg box and with only minor shifting around can get a clear read on the E.
The most convenient tuner is your piano... You have to be just as out of tune as the piano is in order to be in tune.

I have one thing to make your day. Turbo Tuner ST 300 Standard- not the mini- holds a battery.. and it should solve all your tuning issues..

There are few more current tuner threads but I wanted to revisit this one.

I bought a pitch black, then a polytune because I wanted a tuner w/ mute switch but both of them popped quite loudly with my full circle into both my markbass 1x12 or GK 700rb.

The pedals switch virtually silently with my electric basses - but not sure if I can use them inline with upright. Must be some impedance issue?

If you have a high impedance preamp, put the tuner following the preamp.
