Seriously. When I started I had one axe, and looked forward to playing to the exclusion of anything else. Now I work, raise kids, work on the house, etc... and since I don't play like I used to I've taken to making music my hobby... I play, just not enough, or what I want to.
So I'm trying to get back to my happy place, and have got the feeling that I'm not the only one...
So, what would you pick?
i didn't know they made a '66 RI in Japan...that thing is sweet..!I find myself asking this question from time to time Count, and have had numerous basses in the past.
My first real love was a '71 precision when i was 16 or somewhere around that age.
I haven't gigged since 2007, and being back in NYC since, i haven't seemed to find the right people and music, so practicing after work is sort of my happy place right now.
The one bass i have yet to own is a Thunderbird.
Although i am happy with my current two basses, i'd like to add something different into the mix.
But i honestly couldn't narrow something down to one as of now, if i had to.
So i guess at the moment, this would be it.
