you know your a pedal head if --

...you write pedal reviews that are more full of horrible purple prose than all of the "Twilight" books put together.

...you can actually have an argument with yourself over which Big Muff Cliff Burton used, and yet, somehow, still end up losing.

...you are more excited about a drunken eBay auction for a Morley Power Wah Boost than you are about a Primus concert that night.

...you actually know what a Morley Power Wah Boost IS.

...you actually care about what a Morley Power Wah Boost is.

...you pick up three gross quantity purple high-luminescence LEDs on consignment, because you ran out just last week.

...your guitarist complains about the size of your wah, and you have to ask him which one.

...you buy a pedal just because it has canvas on it.

(I'm guilty of soo many of these)

....your spouse threatens to breakup with you because you talk about gear too much

....you spend more time twiddling knobs than practicing.
....you spend more time thinking about pedals than actually playing the ones you have.
....you don't get lunch at work because you're "this close"
....you show up to an audition and you are the only one with pedals.
....you draw diagrams of your potential pedalboard, just to see if it will fit...or you cut paper...or use photoshop....

...you use pedal names as pet names for your girl

...you get your pedals delivered to work so you can touch them and fiddle with knobs ASAP

...when you get pedals delivered to work you try and describe to noises to your coworkers, when that doesn't work you try and make the sounds with your mouth
