You least favorite finishes

I hate sparkle, Stickers (even if it's just one), and those vintage green - aqua - turquoise like colors, especially with a tort guard.

Edit: I forgot to mention pink, and fiesta red with tort PG.

Green, teal blue. I used to hate natural wood finishes but they have grown on me over the last several years.

Not a huge fan of quilted maple tops either...in any color.

I can't stand the vintage colors that everyone seems to love just because they were "60s" colors.. Shell pink, sea foam green, teal green metallic, and the worst finish ever IMO (which happens to also be one of the most collectable and expensive vintage finish out there).. Pink paisley!

Blue paisley and faded fiesta red deserve an honorable mention for ugliness in my book. It never ceases to amaze me how popular all these putrid colors are on the vintage reissues too.. I know people want their ri baas to look like the 60s and all, but i wouldn't want a pink friggin bass, lol (which is what road worn fiesta red looks like). Obviously, to each their own though. If you like it, then that's all that matters.. As long as you don't mind people whispering what an ugly pink bass the bass player has, lol!

I'm utterly bored with sunburst and hate natural too (makes me feel like I'm playing a table too).

My favorite color?... I'm building a bass right now in "General Lee" orange and i think it's my new fav... for now at least.

Natural that shows a quilted top. Really dislike a quilt, especially when theyre colored. Not a big fan of sparkles either.

I wanna know, what is your least favorite finishes?

My least favorites are any natural finish, olympic white, and any type of blonde.

I've never been real fond of sunburst. Radiation green is way down on my list of preferences as well...

I prefer my instruments in natural satin or matte black/green. That means bright colors and sparkly type finishes make me sick.

The flat black finishes that came out a couple of years ago. I also hated the crinkle finish (any color) on the Music man SUBs that were out years ago.
