I just stumbled across this video from a gig my quartet played a couple months ago. It was a pretty fun night if memory serves.
This was a nice concert from November in Chicago. The violinist & I drove straight to the Art Institute, we saw some art, had some coffee then played the show. We drove 2hrs after got a poopy hotel in Bloomington, Il. We went to a great record store in the morning and had an easy drive home to St. Louis. The drummer lives in Chicago. No amps.

I love the Comfort Station. It's a good room for acoustic playing cause it gets real loud real quick. Sounds great!
From a recent show on a tune I've always loved.

an absolutely lovely fugue from Buxtehude (1637-1707).
Buxtehude is the organist and composer who Bach walked 250 miles across Germany to see perform in 1705. They ended up spending 4 months together, after which Bach would go on to compose most of the iconic pieces we remember him for.
The Bach connection aside, Buxtehude was a great master of his day and his organ works are stunning.
Taking out some (non-political) climate change and economy related angst on my Pfretzschner aluminum.
