I haven't weighed it (I swear my postal scale has legs), but it doesn't feel any heavier than my 90s MIJ Fender Jazz bass, which I believe is also a 70's reissue.

Beautiful! What year is that? I love the plate on that, do you know where if came from? That blue is my favorite color. I have an American Professional ll in Olympic white with brown tort. The blue would be a bit much on it, but it's tempting. I think it looks cool on your Ray!

I like this design better than the original Jaguar. It has a much cleaner look without the chrome switch plates. Happy new year - enjoy your present in good health!

Nice, love the color!

My sons and I did the factory tour in Memphis in 2017 and Alex had just finished signing off on the white semi hollow LP a few weeks before, so we had the chance to see his freshly signed version up on the wall it was really cool!

@WI Short Scaler any luck dialing the sansamp in? I was considering one myself but now you have me second guessing it….

I spent hours with it and, in my opinion, didn't get a great benefit from it. I was trying to use it as a tone control more than just as a DI so maybe that's the wrong approach too. I'm sure others can chime in on that. I really just wanted to find a quick way to swap between my two parts-basses that I use the majority of the time. I didn't see that it helped to control the tone as I thought it would from the Youtube vids I watched.

I returned it after a week and will stick to knowing the adjustments on my Rumble 100 for each bass and keep on doing it that way.

If you're plan is to use it to go ampless it might work well. That wasn't my intention. Hope it helps.
