I bought it in October but it's coming in this month, so this is my Christmas present (plus a friend chipped in with me to help me. Afford it)
2014 Fender American Special Limited Edition Sandblasted Jazz Bass.
I have no idea what's involved in the process of "sandblasting". But it's kind of cool and very unique.

I bought a very safe (but also quick) rolling travel case for my bass gear...
I was not going to, but I folded like a house of cards. As this model is being phased out, they are no longer listed on the Fender site in 3-color Sunburst.

Just a new pick guard for me. The gift is that it was purchased from AliExpress, but the workmanship is excellent and the screw holes all line up!
