Did you mean the cab sounded good with an Ampeg pf800?
I thought this thread was about cool light amps?

No biggie. Any opinion on the Ampeg pf800 and how it would match with a Markbass 151hr cabinetNo, sorry. I meant the combo amp.

Recently got an Epifani PS115, and my PF800 sounded meaty and growly on the bottom end through it. Class D goodness, I dig it.
Markbass a connaisseur choice, a buddy who's got stuff from Mirecourt can't go wrong.I admire and respect what Markbass has accomplished, and think their amps are very well designed, I tried both the Little Mark III and the Big Bang with my Lakland 55-94, my 1958 Fender Precision Bass, and my Mirecourt French Double Bass. I liked the EQ, Power, and Form Factor of both amps, the Big Bang was my favorite of the two. If I were to buy one of their current amps, I'd go with the Big Bang. If they ever build a two channel amp like the LMK again, I'd be very interested.

If I owned a company in the US that required production I would only do it overseas. Americans are not trained to do things like assemble cell phones for example. Plus our minimum wage is higher which would cut into profits.
I wouldn't quote the SVT3 PRO as a light amp but what a great sounding gear !
