What are your favorite nickel strings?

I'm getting a set of 45-105 for my Jazz, and I prefer the warmth and sound of nickels opposed to stainless steel.
Also my vintage frets will survive nickels longer than stainless.

When I had a USA Jazz, I ran DRs (Low Rider Nickels, Sunbeams). Generally 40/60/80/100. I tried a set of GHS Bass Boomers 40-95's. I was very impressed with the sound. They are less expensive than the DRs. The string brilliance didn't last quite as long as the DRs. Though I didn't try them on the Jazz, I'm experimenting with D'Addario Nickels on my Pratt 10 (except for the 2 high plain steel strings)....they sound very good and seem very consistent.

Old package Fender 7250, which I thankfully stocked up on when Fender reformulated. DR nickel Lo-Riders are a close runner-up. Both are hex core, which have the tighter tension that I like.

Rotosound Swing Bass Nickel. Switched to these pure nickel wrap strings from GHS Boomers. Great sound, long-lasting tone.

I certainly have enjoyed the DR Sunbeams but most recently tried Dunlop 45-105 and must honestly admit that I enjoy the sound just as much,they last just as long,and are almost half the price.

I used to use D'addario strings until they became too expensive. Then I discovered Dunlop's. They are as good as anything else I've played and about half the price ( although I much prefer their stainless strings, I have purchased the nickel's when my local store has no stainless in stock ).
