Your Favorite TV theme song.

It has always been ALF for me.
I was fascinated by the bass line (together with the drums) as a small kid, long before I picked up bass playing as a hobby.
I also like how the final chord changes the mood a bit. It's not the expected resolution which draws you in and makes your curious about what's going too happen.

Yes!! I meant to post them as well! I saw The Marvel Super Heroes as a kid, some 15 years after their original run in the US, the themes are etched in my mind and they still hold up!
(The songs, that is. The "animated" series...not so much.)

Lots of great classics here, I went through it all to see if Patrick McGoohan's The Prisoner was included (thanks MW). That was not the first submission for that theme (there's a documentary) and it makes all the difference to the mood.
I have to go modern, is it TV? sure... the 2nd one was. 1. Westworld theme, especially the piano lines leading to a 5 note ascending rhythmic theme and the main theme, then again at the end. 2. Mad Men. 3. in a holiday theme, how to drive your husband mad with embarrasment.
