Your first bass or first bass line learned?

First bass: lefty Epiphone "Power Bass" P-Bass Special copy

I remember doing a lot of noodling around, picking out certain riffs I liked and just playing roots and what I thought sounded good when the original bass line was too hard to hear to figure out, but the Queen song was the first actual song I learned from a Queen sheet music book and performed with a band.

FIrst bassline I learned was "Hearbeat" by War, but I learned it on a Harmony acoustic g**t*r. The first bass I had was a no name Korean semi-jazz copy. The first bassline I learned on that was Donna Summer's "Love to Love You Baby" that line was later sampled by Digital Underground.

My first bass was a MIA Jazz delux V, brownish/gold with a pearl pick guard

I couldnt say what my first line was, I had played guitar for about 5 years before picking up bass and it was kind of a natural transition.

actually, it starts with a long series of quarter notes, but has a nice little groove to it. Deep purple had an incredible bass player, although his name, escapes me, at the moment.

His name is Roger Glover and he is an excellent bass player. The bass line to Smoke on the Water is a lot of fun to play especially during the guitar solo.

It was a long time ago so I don't remember exactly which Bass line I learned first, but I do remember that whatever it was, I played it on a copper and white 1960 Danelectro double cutaway, my first Bass.
