My first bass was one of those 50 dollar bass on ebay, man was it junk.
First bass line, I don't remeber, what it was. But the first one I rember learning was la bamba, I was the only white guy in a spanish band.

Can't remember the first bass line I learned..

Hehe, a friend of mine had one of those, in a natural finish. It sounded much better than my first bass, a Samick P-like bass.

First bass line... can't remember. It must have been some Rush one though. Or maybe Yes' Owner of a Lonely Heart. Or maybe China Girl or Fashion by Bowie. I remember practicing on those when I was first starting out.
