Your Gig Rig

Here's my new rig, which I played for the first time out last night. Powerful, easy to move, and it sounds amazing. It's a GK MB800 head with a pair of Avatar 8 ohm 210 cabs. Running at 4 ohms, I barely got to 9:00 on the master and had plenty of nice, clean volume. Also pictured are my tuner, IEM rig, and my Reverend R5L axe.

I just finally finished doing the faceplate. i picked up a vinyl cutter last year and just decided to get around to finishing this build. Head is going to be up for sale in the next few hours.. found a Sunn that i purchased recently that i am loving and could use funds from selling this for my 1982 vw rabbit pickup vr6 swap project :)

had it tuned up and cleaned up internally by a reputable shop a few months back. runs like a champ and sounds stellar.

Here's mine ready to go at a local pub gig
image.jpg1_zpsuzrbs2cj.jpg

On the same nasty type of carpet that every UK pub seems to have at least one piece of...

It's my PA stuff in the top rack by the way, just in case anybody thinks I use an X32 Rack as part of my rig. The Barefaced cab is just about to be replaced with a Faital Pro 15PR400 powered 215, along the same lines as John_K's DIY Cab, I have the drivers and the ply, just need to build it. I'm keeping the Barefaced, but I just wanted to have a different flavour cb to ring the changes
