They all get air time and will again when COVID restrictions are lifted. I’ll try and snap a group shot.

mine:

Ibanez SRX 700, just a really good bass, have it for a couple of years now. had steve swallow sign the cover of the electronic cavity. this one will stay.

Ibanez SR 400 fretless, don't play it much

Yesterday: Ibanez SRX 505, again really nice. plan is to convert it to a six string with tight spacing (then there will be a NBD)

I sold that GB74JH because I used it for drop D tuning for a guy in the band who eventually left.

I now have a GB75JH and find it to be excellent. Those basses are a great value for the money. I doubt you will be disappointed.

Most recent is a G&L JB-5 I bought used in 2019, and before that my USA M-2500 in early 2014. In my current herd, the next is my G&L USA JB, which I special ordered in 2010. From 2003 through approximately 2011, I was more GAS-afflicted and bought and sold several, but the churn tapered off as my herd narrowed down to the keepers.

Most recently a Cherry Burst Lakland skyline 5 er

a Fender HoneyBurst P bass

and a Gibson EB5 5 string in red

I got lucky on the Lakland....I thought my Wife was going to kill me - but she was OK with it..

• Squier Bronco - Cheap shortscale, couldn't bond with it and didn't want to modify to death: moved.
• Silvertone LB11 - Great inexpensive P-bass. Made a Peter Max pickguard to break up the monotonous black. Thick neck caused left hand pain: moved.
• No-name ABG - Bought for unplugged grab-and-play. Horribly built. Quickly disposed of after being shamelessly drowned out by a bunch of mandolins.

Dingwall NG3 in blue swirl
Ibanez 1505 MS in tropical seafloor
LTD Stephen Carpenter Baritone 7 string. I think it counts as a bass as it’s currently tuned to drop G with a .70 on the lowest string.

I recently decided to get in to guitar to help understand bass better and stoke my creative juices. It’s a lot of fun!
