And? Has it devoured your other basses already??I did, and I commissioned a case for it as well. View attachment 3438251 View attachment 3438252
What are those?? They are beautiful. I´m guessing they are all 32" scale?? Not yet on your homepage...

Wow, beautiful work. And I was all proud of myself last week when finally learned how to make a picture frame.Hey Bench
Thanks for the kind words!
They are my "RockHill" semi-hollow basses and yes, they are medium scale. I designed and fabricated the bodies myself, along with some help at my local wood shop. Bodies are Honduras mahogany with flamed maple or flamed ash tops with a walnut accent stripe. I had substantial help from Keith Horne on the necks and Pat Wilkins on the finish work, but they are my designs. I am laying low for the time being, playing them a lot and doing R&D on various piezo pickups. I am still working on several details, so I can finalize what works best for me before I move forward. No, they aren't up anywhere as of yet. There is a build thread, if you are interested, let me know and I can post the link.
I hope to start on a new batch of six this summer. I have added a cutaway to the body shape to give better access to the upper frets, and I have designed a new bridge. It's a slow process but it's a lot of fun, and well - a bit addictive.
Thanks again!
