No jeans in a blues band?? Somebody need prosaic on their corn flakes. Has he ever heard of the Allman Brothers? Or actually just about any blues band.

I was just joking. I think if you have a BL you should follow the rules. I played for years in band that dressed up, had matching outfits, etc. Now I'm in an old school hard side of rock band and it's jeans and sleeveless shirts - but appropriate to the material.View attachment 276843
It's actually just no blue jeans, black jeans are ok and what I usually wear. Unfortunately we're nowhere near the talent of the Allman Bro's band so his thought on looking like we came to play is valid.
Here's a pix of me last night at a gig. I just got out of the hospital a few weeks ago so I'm sitting.
A few photos from recent gigs with my band Link Removed that I think illustrate the point nicely...

they don't come any prettier.
The guys from Pantera said it best, in my opinion - " Let's just go out there and be comfortable - jeans, t-shirt, whatever."...
...and that the band itself has a fashion-derived name, being named after the era of pants?nice pics. are you aware the guys from pantera used to go all out with teased hair and makeup?
