Good job Astros, you're on the right track to be the worst team in the MLB 3 years in a row. At least y'all went back to the retro blue and orange uniforms.

I feel ya buddy. It will likely be a few years before they're good again - horrible team, one of the worst farm systems in the majors. But, congrats on being a tr00 fan like myself, still supporting them when they are so bad.

But hey, at least they brought back our original mascot Orbit, right?

^went through a lot of rough years with the Giants. Horrible teams and good teams that couldn't get it done. Getting swept by the A's in the W. S. The worst was getting beaten by the Orange County monkey boys in the World Series. Barry Bonds? Meh. Now we have an exciting young team and great pitching. Hang in there Astros fans ther is always hope.

I'm of the opinion that McLane's departure will bear fruit after a few seasons, but it's gonna be a rough couple of years while we rebuild.

Barry Zito? Yesterday he blanked the Rockies while the Giants scored 10 runs. The guy has gone from one of the biggest dissapointments in Giants history to a local hero. He kept us in the playoff and Word Series last year with some amazing pitching when we really needed him. If you would have told me two years ago about how he is pitching now I wouldn't have believed it. The guy pitches in the low 80's but he has a wicked curve ball and he knows how to get people out. Mr. Zito you have my respect, I take back every nasty thing I have ever said about you.

That contract was ridiculous, but he learned how to pitch, not just throw. Maddox never threw that hard, but he was an amazing pitcher, location, location, location...

It really sucks to be a fan of a team with one of the best line ups, one of the best starting pitching rotations but probably THE WORST bullpens in the majors. We have the Triple Crown winner, arguably the best starting pitcher in the league but we can't even close out a win after the 6th inning.

Oh well, here's to another day game at Comerica Park against the Blue Jays. GO TIGERS! Try not to blow the win this time.......

If you're a making $24.5M per year as a pitcher, you don't let anyone touch your hands. Besides, broken collar bones heal faster than broken hands.

True, but if you're truly enraged and about to fight, who thinks about what to hit or hit with? If you are thinking about anything besides beating the hell out of someone you probably shouldn't be fighting. IMO of course
