Worked for the Rangers. I would love to see these teams fighting out every for for the AL West.

I really don't want the Astros to move to the AL, but I have to accept it's an inevitability. I agree a team needed to move, but it should've been the Brewers, who already used to be an AL team. The team has been in the NL for 50 years!

Oh well, as the long as the team starts winning, maybe I'll forget all about it in a few years.

Despite living in Yankee territory, Go Tribe!

Was at the game Wednesday. Lots of fun quoting Major League with a bunch of Yankee fans! Sad to see Pettitte get hurt though...

Yankees here too...been a Yankees fan since I knew what baseball was.

Someone said this was the calmest baseball thread they've ever seen...I tended to agree until the Mets fan brought up how many millions the Yankees spend.

Seems to me the Mets were top 5/top 10 in salary for most of the 2000's...just sayin! :hiding:

Seriously...I will give you that CitiField is a much more fan friendly and beautiful park than Yankee Stadium. They got that right...but now need to fill the stands!

Good thread...good baseball season...many teams in the hunt that have been building to a crescendo for awhile now:

Orioles...though they are fading fast
Dodgers (any team led by Donnie Baseball is alright by me!)
White Sox...can a rookie manager lead them all the way?

Lots of good baseball stories happening this season.

2008 was a great season for the Phils....
2009 was a great season for the Yanks....
2010 was a great season for the Giants....
and 2011 was probably the most amazing post-season run I've seen for the Cards...

But it's time for the crown to come back to the AL....no matter if it's the Rangers for their first time or the Yanks for the 28th....

BASEBALL!!!

Thanks for listening....:D

Dodgers building to a crescendo? Take a look at the standings and scores for the last couple of weeks.

True.....it's been a rough month for them...but did anyone really expect them to play as well as they did right out of the gate?

Same story with the O's....

I guess in Cali it's the SF Giants building to that crescendo...4 shutouts in a row....

I was just rambling a bit....

Wow Chuck Norriss...what a great shot! Exactly where do you sit during games...or are you lucky enough to be a photographer sitting in one of the pits or standing next to Scott Boras?

Thanks. Media cage behind home plate then on either side of 1st or 3d base lines next to dugout spitting distance. Not tht I would spit on mike soscia-- he's a dodger. Not bad seats. If you watch annangels home game on tv you'll see.
