I loved watching Wise pitch. Hahah. The Three C's (or Killer C's, if you're Michael Kay) are usually pretty good. I love D-Rob, too. And Phelps did pretty solid last night.

Do you watch it on YES?
I do watch on YES but I'm having a hard time with dealing with Kay...and I can't stand Sterling and Waldman either...so I'm kind of stuck! I tolerate him because he'll have Oneill, Cone, Flaherty or Singleton with him.

Does he really call them the Killer C's? As in Cory, Cody, and Clay? Ugh...guess I haven't been paying that close attention!

Wade has been pretty awful for a few weeks too!

We have a great Pen for the most part...even after losing Mo and Joba....

Dodgers fan here! They'll be OK once the injured start returning. A skid is inevitable when Kemp, Ethier, and Ellis are out for a while.

I prefer NL ball, mainly due to the added strategy and lineup juggling needed when subbing pitchers.

As much as I hate to say it, the Angels' Mike Trout might be the second coming of Mickey Mantle if he can avoid injuries and keep his nose clean.

Cain lost one last night and our shutout streak ended on the first pitch. Oh well nobody can be perfect all the time. We finally have some bats this year. Posey is back, Pagan, Cabrera, Sandoval and even Belt are all hitting. We don't have long ball hitters but people with good OBP's. That's the way you win at AT&T Park, lots of hits, good pitching, good D and stealing bases. AT&T is not a home run park. Now if Lincecum and Zito can stay on track we have a pretty good team.

After I posted I saw the Giants were down 3-0 last night..

And we Yankees fans never thought Melky would become the player he is now for SF...good for him and good for the Giants! Would sure love him in our left field!

Lincecum was grear the other night...

How are you having a hard time with Kay? Lou Pinella (sp?) is there now, too. He does call them the Killer C's, yes. It's Cody Eppely, Cory Wade, and Clay Rapda. He calls them that when they go back-to-back and belly-to-belly, eg, Rapada pitches to a lefty, Eppely pitches to a righty, and then Wade comes in and cleans up. Wade hasn't had his stuff all the time lately. A few games ago, I think it was the Mets, he looked alright.

And yes, without Mo, we're doing pretty solid. The three C's are fantastic when they all bring their stuff, and D-Rob is just great (usually), along with Soriano.

Porcello pitched an awesome game, giving up 4 hits in 7 innings, as the Tigers beat the Rays 6-2. I'm starting to like the way he's pitching. We just need the guys later in the line up to get a few hits with RISP. With Cabrera and Fielder hitting back to back, we really should be hitting better as a team than we are currently.

Whenever my wife complains about me listening to yet another game while we're in the car that's what she makes fun of......"And thuuuuuh pitch...." Even my 5 year old son has picked up on that....it drives her nuts...

Tell you what though listening to ball games in the car is far more informative & constructive for little ones than top40 (people bragging about how wonderful they are or boy problems).
