My most VALUABLE bass is my Rickenbacker 4001C64S, hands down. The guys that setup it estimated the value at about $2500-$3000.
The most I PAID for a bass, since I inherited the Rickenbacker, is my Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass. Got that one for $800 new.
