I am familiar with the website. It is quite good.
If his teaching is anything like that I would drive extra to study with him. I have also seen some folks say good things that have studied with him.
1. Improve my overall technique.
2. Continue weekly jam sessions with current "band" and maybe get them to focus a bit more. They're kind of like herding cats now.
3. Resist the urge to suggest re-naming the band to "Herding Cats."
4. Gain enough confidence to play with more musicians.
5. Play, play, play without pissing off Mrs. frsbdg too much.
You originally from the south? I figured the phrase "Herding cats" didn't go much further north than Oklahoma...
