I saw a thread for a heavy metal band name generator, and I thought that can't be all of the names. I think there are an apt amount of heavy metal bands with weird/interesting/ messed/ nonsensical names, but if you were part of a metal band on the rise...

Being an idiot, posted this in the generator thread the first time - d'oh!

When I was fifteen or sixteen, I wanted to name my band Fair-Haired Cadaver. To this day - more than twenty-five years later, I would join a band with that name : )

Back then, I guess that I was listening to bands like Virus, Rigor Mortis, Dark Angel, etc., so would probably fall into that genre - speed/thrash/death? I have never been good with keeping up with genres.

When I got a bit older, and more into bands like Cro-Mags and DRI, I wanted to start up a band named KRUD - with oomlats over the U. I think that I had seen Spinal Tap by then, though, so was in on the whole funny band name thing by then.

Again, a band named KRUD would be a band that I would like to play with
