Your prettiest bass

I'm not that good on guitar, but I feel the same as you, Jeff.

The folly of youth. :(

Mike
Beautiful, clean MC you have there Mic :bassist:
I had the chance to buy an MC 500 (sixer) off a friend many years ago for AU$500. It even had the "tree of life" on the headstock and the complete length of the neck. It was a dream to play and sounded gorgeous. I didnt have the money at the time and missed out on an absolutely beautiful instrument (that is VERY collectable now too) :crying:
If i could take one trip in a time machine, id be off to buy that guitar ;)
Have fun on your beautiful MC

Kind of a Dick Dale Precision Bass. Marty Bell large metal flake gold finish. (Found this unloaded body here on TalkBass. Hard to believe but about a $750 bass guitar build.)

I had that exact same Sterling back in the day, only minus the thumbrest (if that's what it is). I traded it for a Lakland Skyline Duck Dunn, which then morphed into a Skyline (forget the name, vintagey looking thing), which then morphed into a Reverend ThunderGun.

Wonder if your Sterling is that same Sterling I had...

It's a zero mod thumbrest that I made from curly maple. The gent I acquired it from said it was his father's, who was the original owner. Still have the original sale tag in the case
