There's no way I can list just 10 of them. Songs like By-Tor, Leave that thing Alone, YYZ, and others are just incredibly fun to play.

I'd like to say I've noticed a lack of newer material in other peoples' lists? This doesn't make sense to me, as I have loved their last few albums. Ceiling Unlimited is amazing, Freeze is incredibly cool. On just the new album I love Armor & Sword, and come one, who doesn't love MalNar?

Ten really isn't enough! My favorite Rush songs change all the time, but here's ten off the top of my head at this moment..

1) Red Barchetta
2) The Trees
3) Limelight
4) The Analog Kid
5) The Body Electric
6) Freewill
7) Tom Sawyer
8) Closer To The Heart
9) Alien Shore
10) Open Secrets

I was just thinking about this the other day...(no particular order)

1. Freewill (well...kinda speaks for itself)
2. Spirit of Radio (love the interplay with the drums and guitar in different parts of the song)
3. Hemispheres (a throw-back to their mega-opus', this one done as well as any)
4. By-Tor (a jammin' song, tons o' fun to play along with)
5. The Trees (a truly intricate bass line with a melody that beautifully weaves in with the guitar)
6. Limelight (ditto)
7. Bravado (just a beautifully written song that really builds well to a nice mid-tempo improv at the end)
8. The Enemy Within (pure power)
9. Animate (one of few songs I like with Geddy's flamenco-style)
10. Leave That Thing Alone (because it's just...so...out there!)

Mine change all the time too, so i guess mine are like most so I wont bother reposting Tom Sawyer, YYZ, etc etc. However, as a bass player, one of my favorite songs to play is The Body Electric. Its fairly simple in the verses and chorus but during the guitar solo is when it takes off. Check that out, learn how to play it, its neat.
