Does Roland vb99 count? Because I'm rapidly replacing pedals and even basses with it.

Same here , except no more pedals for me , it's VB99 all the time.

POLY octaver
Multi comp
Mu-Tron
(I have an original Mu-TronIII , and I prefer using the VB')

And of course all the synths…..

Have any of you VB99 lovers ever gotten sick of digital multi-effects pedals? Is this one better than most? I think I got completely sick of the sound destroying devices I tried from Boss and Zoom and various others. Are clipping and muddiness a thing of the past? Especially with chords, ringing notes, and subtle techniques... is this REALLY the pedal to rule them all or is it just a good offering from Roland that raises the bar without eliminating the inherent issues?

So far the only pedal I own that is 100% not going anywhere is my Fuzzhugger(fx) Bass Bloom. The Iron Ether Xerograph Deluxe is entering that territory, though.

they aren't necessarily the best, or the most used, but when i get to use them, i am like, "YEAAAHHHH!"

All POLY effects and the instrument/synth emulations process each strings individually.
Take your guess if that gives a better result …

Can you get the same sound out of a Sansamp Tech 21 programmable driver DI pedal as the Sansamp VT Bass? I really want that programmable one. It is there to compliment my Orange Terror (original band) but also to beef up my Line 6 Lowdown 150 (small pub covers). I might not even use the Lowdown with the programmable DI pedal.
