Your wedding song, first dance etc

"YYZ". Just kidding. I honestly can't remember which song we first danced to at our wedding. I know we danced to "Sara Smile" at some point (the band graciously learned it at my request). "What a Wonderful World" is kind our song though. An old school accordion/vocalist duo played it at our table during our first date.

My bride came down the aisle to "The Boy I'm Gonna Marry." (In 2013--she's young, but appreciates old-school stuff.) Our recessional was "Signed, Sealed, Delivered."

Our first dance was Dylan's "Make You Feel My Love", as sung by Adele. My wife and her dad danced to "Just Fishin'" by Alan Jackson. My mom and I picked "What a Wonderful World" (Satchmo's version, of course.) She originally wanted "You Are My Sunshine", as she sang part of that frequently when my brother and I were kids. But I checked out the rest of the lyrics--man, does that song get depressing!

We also picked songs for the DJ to play when it was each table's turn to go up to the buffet*; my wife made up a centerpiece for each table which included a small placard with the song title and picture of the artist(s). They included the Alabama Shakes' "I Found Someone" and Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn's "You're The Reason Our Kids Are Ugly.":D
*I'm normally not a fan of buffets, but this venue did a great job.

Although we had a DJ at the reception, it was a wedding gift from my wife's aunt and uncle. And we had live music at the party the night before, including a version of my current band and a version of my old band from college. It was so much fun.
