man, those basses are nuts...
You think the basses are nuts? You've seen the pricetags on those things?
Yeah, I've seen them.
I don't think the guy has ever done a bass other than his.
i was thinking about getting one of the cases for my old alvarez villain
cool bass. I like the shape. Wouldn't want to play it seated, though.
The workmanship appears top-notch. On one hand, I think the cost is justified by the time put onto the instrument. OTOH, Whether it's justified by its value as a sound-producer or an art object is up to each individual. I imagine there are enough monied collectors out there to result in a few orders. I would certainly never take it on a gig!
I like it... and I give the designer extra credit for thinking outside the box.
what's with those frets at the end of the fretboard? they go in strange directions..
I guess they're decorative - same as the last fret on a BassLab.
Geeze, that's awful!
The craftsmanship looks good, but the design looks... "off". I appreciate the creative thinking, but the bass looks like a combination of different ideas, not an integrated design.
Kinda funny the website has a big "B.S." up in the corner... now those are initials i wouldn't want!
Those ARE my initials...
I really like the bass though. If I had money to burn I would get one. I'm not really digging the headstock though. But if I had 10,000 quid to blow, I'm sure he could change it for me.
Website is gone.... No more bassurgery?
It's a 9 year old thread dude.
