Customer Service is Amazing.
i have The GeminiDrive which i bought under the name
Electronix
i have a a mess drive which i bought prior to that
cannot wait to get my hands on a Submarine Designer
cash flow just isnt great right now.
as soon as i heard these guys were up and running i contacted them through there website and i had an email back from them personally within the day.
These guys work hard
are very nice
and there pedals are AMAZING
Great tone
Very Clean
YOU NEED AT LEAST ONE PEDAL FROM THIS COMPANY ON YOUR BOARD

after pondering and going back to the same ebay listing for gazillion times, i finally decided to get the GeminiDrive LT Bass Overdrive! Yes i must admit the 'bad customer service' or 'musicelectronix missing in action' thread did deter me but guess i really couldnt pass on the good deal and overdrive itch, sounds awesome on their website:hiding:

the store was quick to reply to my bid offer and im hoping that the pedal will be shipped asap! i will have faith in musicelectronix and their good pedals (i once owned the submarine).

will update when the green monster is here!:hyper:

So, what is the current turnaround time for new orders? Such as, a Submarine Designer?

I ordered a Gemini Drive Lite from the Zeibek eBay store, and it said about a week for delivery. But those are peddles that are done and ready.

just wanted to put my experience with Os and MusicElectroniX on the table:

It was long before 'issues' came to light and the company wasnt running for a time.

I bought a messdrive Hybrid+ and a Submarine through ebay a few years ago, Os was very responsive and my pedals arrived without fault and were excellent. His customer service was wonderful.

I appreciate that 'something' happened in more recent history and a few people were less than satified with what happened and their (lack of) treatment (im specifically referring to those who had pedals/repairs outstanding), but im genuinely glad to know that those people are now being provided the service they required and MusicEletroniX/Ziebek are running alot smoother now.

This one wound up on my board .... and it's not going anywhere.

Good to read of the efforts by Electronix/Zeibek to right the ship.

Not to throw a damper on things, but I've watched the whole debacle unfold from an unbiased perspective (I'm neither a buyer or a competitor/hater with/of Os's products), and I sincerely hope that his periods of going inexplicably incommunicado are behind him.

His pedals seem fantastic, and when he's actively posting he seems like a good dude, but I sincerely hope he's gotten whatever was preoccupying him in the rear-view before he engages in the enterprise again. There was a lot of bad blood left on here when he went AWOL.

Me too! I ordered a Gemini Drive Lite from his eBay store on Friday... Still waiting for a confirmation....:hmm:

I still haven't heard boo about this purchase through Zeibek's eBay store.

My PayPal account shows the money went to ElectronX, but ElectronX hasn't accepted payment yet. This was over a week ago, and the eBay store states the pedal would arrive to me within 3-5 days, and that after my order, there is now one less in stock.

I have of course emailed Zeibek, ElectronX (3 times) and even PM'd Os, no return contact yet. Now my money is in limbo and PayPal won't return the funds until either ElectronX cancels the order (which I have requested) or 30 days goes by without payment acceptance.

So, for anyone considering purchasing from Zeibek, I would caution against it until Os or Zeibek or ElecrontX resurfaces.

FWIW I'm not bitter, I'm sure I'll get my money back eventually, but I was looking forward to buying a Submarine from their eBay store as well, now it seems like a waste of time and money to even try. :hmm:

Update... still no word...:hmm:

At this point, even a 'Hey man, sorry for the delay, confusion, etc... I have instructed PayPal to return the money to you, let me know if you change your mind and want to order again.'

I may even consider a reorder... maybe...

Anyhoo... :rolleyes:

(on a side note, I hope Os is ok :hiding:)

If I remember correctly Os was/is an unpaid writer for a basketball site and was continuing to do that when he went through his period of being non-responsive.

I have no idea about what is or isn't going on in Os' life and I'm not in a position to judge anyone else. But in spite of enjoying the Mess Drive Hybrid+ when I had it and personally having very positive interactions with Os, unfortunately I have to say that at this point it's a "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me" situation.

Caveat emptor.

I don't know any details but I believe Os has some personal matters that he's dealing with. You can definitely express concern about not getting pedals, I'm waiting for one myself. But hold off on the pitchforks and torches. He really means well.

i have no dog in this fight, because as awesome as some of the clips sound for his stuff, all his "now you see me now you don't" scares me away from ordering from him. but personal stuff or not, and i hope everything is going ok for him, this is the third or fourth time he's gone incommunicado ne?

i like what i hear from his stuff, but i try to be careful with my purchases and after-purchase customer support is a HUGE thing with me. and with such good guys as Taylor from Iron Ether, Brian from SmallSound/BigSound, Ryan from Fuzzrocious, Matt from Wren & Cuff, Jimmy from BaddyOneShoe...... there's probably more that i'm forgetting. but these are all people that after i bought something from them were super helpful with either advice or mods to make it fit in more with what i wanted to do with it.

so........ yeah. Caveat Emptor like a MOTHER****er.
