Hi Everyone!
I know it's been a very long time, but life has been busy busy busy. As promised here's a little snippet of the bass. I tried to bring the energy down at least a little bit in the middle so that you can hear how the onboard distortion impacts the tone of the bass as you ramp up the energy. I love love love the bass! Absolutely fantastic tone! Now I really wanna get a 5-string version. How does the low end fare when boosting the bass?

The first 38 seconds has the tonal quality of a Wal bass and also towards the end of the piece, very nice, very nice indeed!!!!

This is great. Great dynamic playing, feel, and timing. Is the onboard OD engaged in this clip?
Hi! Yes the onboard drive was engaged. I tried to play really hard in the beginning, and do some more dynamic double stop type playing so you can hear how the drive interacts with the bass signal as I play softly and then dig in.
One question. Is the preamp 2- or 3-band? What are the controls in the back? I’ve seen them labeled as “BMTL” which I assume stands for Bass, Midrange, Treble and Level (for the distortion) but that means there’s no pickup balance unless that’s what “B” means, but then M and T makes no sense. Can you clarify?

For the bass output yes, the trim pot volume is for the distortion I believe, kinda like how darkglass pedals have both a blend and a “level” knob!

Curious if anyone has received any updates on outstanding orders. For those of you who received your instruments recently, did Joe give you a heads up. I was told mine would ship middle of June. I did see two new basses on their Facebook page.

Nope. I emailed for an update after my post in May. Was told by Martin that Joe was dealing with medical issues at the moment so he couldn't get an update. And never got one after that.
Coming up on 2 years now that I've been waiting.
