Zoom b3 patch Ideas

If you're talking about a patch that emulates an acoustic bass guitar sound, give this patch a try and see if it works out for you.

Section 1: znr: thresh: 17, detect: grnlft, level: 100

Section 2: 160 comp: thresh: -17, ratio: 4.5, gain: 7, knee: soft, level: 90

Section 3: acoustic: bass: 4, mid: 4, treble: 3, mid_f:450hz, gain:45, level: 80, bright: on, cab: ha4x10, mix: 50

no, iam looking for some patches to make my semi-acoustics really shine.

Here's a new patch I just came up with. it is a bright punchy bass patch that has plenty of lows. a great patch for recording and live performances.

Clean punch

Section 1: znr: thresh: 17, detect: grnlft, level: 100

Section 2: exciter: bass: 4, treble: 7, level:100

Section 3: Hartke: bass: 3, mid: 4, treble: 5, midfq: 350hz, tube: 50, level: 59, comp: 1, cab: ha4x10, mix: 50

Yes, indeed. Many thanks Crystalman. :-) I am also using several of your patches, albeit I am still in the process of tweaking them some more. But for sure great patches I found useful and liked right away. How about also offering the latest via Google drive? Thanks!

There's about 100 B3 patches in the Zoom B3 Patch Library to download direct into your own B3 via "Invalid Link Removed".

I think there's 35 or so of Crystalman85's earlier patches amongst them.
I haven't had time to upload any more recently.

.......You could upload them yourself andreas_flf !
I set the Google drive up so that any B3 user could upload his/her (or anyone else's) patches. ;)

Hi Guys, glad I found this killer thread! Crystalman, you suppose you know how to create the synth sound for "Madness" by Muse. I just can't seem to get it very close to that sound...

Any help/feedback is immensley appreciated!

Just got my B3 this week. I am still finding my way around the controls and various effects and models. Many interesting, good and funny sounds, and it gets better with some tinkering.

I have been trying to build a nice patch that adds some chorus to my fretless but so far find the chorus sounds a bit cool, artificial sounding. Any suggestions for a nice warm chorus patch that works well for the typical fretless tones?

Try the 'Mix/balance' knob and/or ot a little reverb/air after it...

My fretless patch is Comp>Chorus(varies)>Air
