Zoom b3 patch Ideas

Thanks for the suggestions, I am going to give these a try. Vintage or vibe in the middle, some reverb or air after and compression before. Any suggestions as to which compressor works well in a chorus patch?

And feel free to either share your patch parameter settings or upload a patch file of your favorite chorus patch.

I have been trying to get a bass tone similiar to this one from "The Water Song."

I know that back in the day Jack Casady would use two amps, they look like Fender Bassmans from the videos I have seen. He would drive one and play the other one clean. I don't know what he was using when he recorded this. I have been trying different pedal combinations on the Zoom and also using two amp settings on the pedal as well, one clean and one overdriven.
No luck so far. Any suggestions?

The AC/DC patch won't load into my B3. All the others work fine but the AC/DC gives me a load error. Can you either re-upload it or just post the settings to the forum? I'm curious to see what it sounds like.

Okay...I took a listen to that song. in the video, chris looks like he's playing a kitara synth guitar(which is a pretty cool synth guitar and I'm guessing that's how he got that synth sound), but I have come up with something that could be close.

Madness

Section 1: znr: thresh: 18, detect: grnlft, level: 100

Section 2: t scream: gain: 25, tone: 50, level: 100, balance: 40

Section 3: z-synth: wave: square, decay: 35, tone: 7, freq: 2, range: 5, reso: 14, synth: 100, dry: 40, level: 100

Sounds like you can get that sound using an exciter with a sansamp bass driver. perhaps these settings should help you out.

Section 1: any effect you want

Section 2: exciter: bass: 4, treble: 7, level: 90

Section 3: bassdrive: bass: 3, treble: 5, precense: 4, gain:50, blend: 75, level: 90, mid: 7

It sounds to me that sound can be achieved if you use the fender bassman model with xotic bb bass preamp model. perhaps these settings would help you out.

Section 1: any effect you want

Section 2: bass bb: gain: 10, bass: 4, treble: 3, dry: 59, level: 80

Section 3: bassman: bass: 4, mid: 5, treble: 4, midfq: 300hz, gain:40, level: 90, deep: off, cab: ac1x18, mix:50

I downloaded the new ACDC patch and tried to import and got the same import error. Either my PC doesn't like it or my B3 doesn't like it. I was able to get all the other patches in though.:hmm:

Can you post the patch details on the forum instead and I'll just program it myself.

The AC/DC patch was created using a G3 not a B3. It's possible that this is why it won't load for you. You can open the file in Notepad or another text editor (Not Microsoft Word), then change the Product attribute from G3 to B3. Save the file and then try to load it into Edit&Share to see if it will take.

Only the little effects comparison I did a month or two back jovino.

It seems that the effects that are named the same between the B3 and G3 sound the same too. To my ears anyway.
The only difference I found was that the B3 has an extra parameter or two to adjust over the G3, if that makes any sense.

I have one which I've been fooling around with for some time and I think it's worth sharing. I'm calling it [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]. It's a distortion and wah run through a rotating speaker. The expression pedal controls the speaker rotation speed.
