Zoom b3 patch Ideas

Here's another patch idea I came up with. this patch has a blended high-gain distortion sound with warm lows and punchy highs.

Metal bassman 2

Section 1: znr: thresh: 18, detect: efxln, level: 100

Section 2: squeak: gain: 50, tone: 25, level: 100, balance: 15

Section 3: b-man: bass: 5, mid: 4, treble: 3, midfq: 300hz, gain: 50, level: 90, deep: off, cab: swr4x10, mix: 50

Here's another patch idea I came up with. this patch has tube-like grinding sound with smooth lows and highs.

Smooth bass grind

Section 1: znr: thresh: 18, detect: efxln, level: 100

Section 2: squeak: gain: 10, tone: 50, level: 100, balance: 25

Here's another patch idea I came up with. this patch combines a retro sounding preamp model with a low gain proco rat model resulting in creating an edgy grinding sound with a strong mid range presence.

Retro grind 2

Section 2: squeak: gain: 10, tone: 50, level: 100, balance: 25

Section 3: ac bs pre: gain: 70, tone: 10, level: 100, bass: 4, l-mid: 0, lm_f: 450hz, mid: 1, h_mid: 2, treble:3

Thanks to all posters on here. Was a bit dubious about the quality multi effects units from past experience, but the B3 is an awesome piece of kit, especially with some of the posted patches. Cheers!

Anytime, dude. the zoom b3 has awesome sound quality. it also a huge variety of effects, amps and cab models. the possibilities are endless with the zoom b3 so you can create some pretty unique patches.

Anyone have an idea how to get a Norm Stockton'esque tone. Perhaps using the GK emulation????

The gallien-krueger 800rb amp model with a bass boost model(at a certain setting) can get you that sound. give this patch a try and see if it works out for you.

Stockton bass

Section 1: any effect you want

Section 2: bottom b: bass: 4, treble: 3, level: 50

Section 3: g-krueger: bass: 4, mid: 4, treble: 5, midfq: 250hz, gain: 40, level: 90, color: off, cab: e4x10, mix: 50

Any ideas for a patch to emulate the Twiggy Ramirez bass tone on like Love song? He seems to have a slight distorted tone and and deep but punchy tone. I just got my Zoom B3 and I cant find that sweet spot. The pick-ups in the Thunderbird are dark and I cant seem to get rid of that. I have lots of basses, but the one I need for this project just blows.

Thanks in advance!

I downloaded the patch but there is something weird going on his page. Anyway go to the link I'm about to give you and click the patch. It will say no preview or whatever that's ok just click the download arrow on the bottom right corner of the no preview box. If you try from Ozzygreg's share instead of clicking that arrow you have to go to the little show all box on the left and find the patch you want and then use the download arrow on the right. Confusing, so I just put it on my googledrive. Anyway you should be able to get it now.
