Zoom b3 patch Ideas

I just got my Zoom B3 and I cant find that sweet spot. The pick-ups in the Thunderbird are dark and I cant seem to get rid of that. I have lots of basses, but the one I need for this project just blows.

Give this patch a try.

Tube bass driver

Section 1: optcomp: drive: 5, tone: 40, level: 90

Section 2: t-scream: gain: 30, tone: 50, level: 100, balance: 25

Section 3: svt: bass: 4, mid: 7, treble: 5, midfq: 250hz, gain: 50, level: 57, ultra: low, cab: ag1x15, mix: 50

Got one of these in route to me, this is a pretty decent sized thread to go through, which I'm sure I'll do when my pedal gets here, but I was just wondering if anyone had gathered these together in a spreadsheet or something like it?

I've been experimenting with my B3 for several months. I can't seem to find the tone I'm looking for. I currently prefer my sound plugged straight into my head w/o the B3.

I think what I'm looking for is 2 patches - one for each of my 2 basses. The idea being a single patch per bass for general use - to enhance the tone of each bass - instead of a patch by song.

My rig is an Eden WT550/D212xlt/D210xst
By basses are 1/2008 Fender Am Std P 4 with GHS P flats 2/2006 EBMM HH Stingray 4 with D'Addario XL balanced tension rounds

So what would be a good patch for my P - and Ray - for general use? Not too much effect - just a good, solid, clear, classic rock type bass tone. I'm a basement "lone wolf"/MP3 type player - I don't play extremely loud - and like a solid bottom end.

For the most part, a patch-per-bass is how I use my B3.

For my rounds (passive P), I usually have a compressor first, then a 'Splitter' for more control over highs/lows, then some kind of dirt/overdrive (mostly the "Bass Drive").

For the bass w/flats (active P/J), I have a compressor, dirt ("Bass Drive") then a specialty effect that I use on one song.

I also have a separate patch with a phaser/wah/reverb that I use when a song is super boring and I need to keep from falling asleep by just droning a low end Stranglehold-type-thing (American Woman comes to mind).

Each patch has the level balanced so that it is the same when switching effects on and off, and switching between patches. I never touch the amp.

My current favorite "pedals" in the B3 are:
T-Screamer (gain and tone at 55...balance at 40), Big Bottom B (Bass: 2, Treble: 1)... these two are on all the time. Sounds great through any rig. The last effect is the Vintage Chorus...only at 25-30% mix wise. Gives the tone a nice, subtle shimmer for leads and melodic stuff.
Love, love, LOVE the B3.

Hey Don, thanks for that :D
I like the tone with the first two on. With my Ray, I find there's a bit to much string noise with the chorus on, so I just have the T-Screamer and Bottom B going and it sounds great. Thanks.
