Thanks, dadman. I did do my best on coming up with nifty patch ideas for the zoom b3. that sound you're looking for sounded like a p-bass through a fender bassman. perhaps this patch idea would help you out.

Classic rock bass

Section 1: any effect you want

Section 2: m comp: thresh: 17, ratio: 4, level: 90, attack: 7

Section 3: b-man: bass: 4, mid: 7, treble: 5, midfq: 250hz, gain: 45, level: 90, deep: off, cab: ag1x15, mix: 50

Hey guys, I have a P-Bass and I want to get that Entwistle tone from Live at Leeds/Wetton tone from Red, and I don't know where to start. I think I have something with the Bassman and Bass Driver DI, but I'm not sure. If you guys could make it so that I could also get that fuzz/wah sound he has too, that'd be great.

I bought the Yamaha FC7 pedal to use with the B3. It is excellent, built like a tank, very responsive and won't kill your wallet.

That can work too. but a p-bass would definitely do the trick to get that sound you want.

Here's a new patch idea I came up with. this patch has a clean punchy bass sound with reduced noise.

Modern clean bass

Section 1: znr: thresh: 18, detect: gtrln, level: 90

Section 2: exciter: bass: 3, treble: 5, level: 70

Section 3: g-kruger: bass: 4, mid: 5, treble: 4, midfq: 300hz, gain: 45, level: 100, color: off, cab: e4x10, mix: 50

Here's another patch idea I came up with. this patch is similar to modern clean bass, only with an eden-traveller amp model.

Modern clean bass 2

Section 1: znr: thresh: 18, detect: gtrln, level: 90

Section 3: heaven: bass: 4, mid: 5, treble: 4, midfq: 300hz, gain: 45, level: 100, ence: 4, cab: e4x10, mix: 50

Section 1: limiter: thresh: 25, ratio: 4, level: 75, release: 4

Section 2: t-scream: gain: 40, tone: 50, level: 90, balance: 40

Section 3: hartke: bass: 4, mid: 4, treble: 5, tube: 50, level: 59, cab: swr4x10, mix: 50

I based this patch from a youtube clip of john entwistle's bass track from we don't get fooled again. his bass tone on that clip sounds slightly overdriven. here's the clip.

Section 2: bottom b: bass: 4, treble: 5, level: 57

Nope. Some of the files on OzzyGreg's folder have an extra .xml on them. I don't think mine do. Just drag and drop in edit and share to the slot you want it in.

Section 2: booster: gain: 45, bass: 3, treble: -2, level: 50

Section 3: d.i plus: bass: 4, mid: 5, treble: 3, gain: 50, blend: 50, level: 100, color: on, channel: clean

Hey I want to start by thanking the guys/gals who took the time to spell out their presets. I'm a Linux user so the share/edit software is useless for me.
also I'm working on a Duck Dunn sound. I'm close (I'll post what I got later when I get a chance) but would welcome any suggestions. OH and to help, I'm playing roto flats on a Waters Fender P with a Ampeg PF 350 through a 410he cab and the zoomb3 through the effects loop. This has seemed to give me the best use out of it.
Oh and one last intro thing. Like many others this is the very first pedal that I've ever owned/used with bass so this is really opening up a whole new world for this Amateur!
