Zoom b3 patch Ideas

Hi there,
I'm pretty sure there is already a Marcus preset on the B3. It's pretty good too. SWR amp and compression.

Here's a new patch idea I came up with. this patch is a special requested one from the vox stomplab 1b patch ideas thread. this patch closely duplicates the rotary sounds from the song heartbreakers by led zepplin.
Heartbreaker
Section 1: t-scream: gain: 25, tone: 40, level: 90, balance: 25
Section 2: the vibe: speed: 64, depth: 50, bias: 40, wave: 35, mode: chorus, level: 80
Section 3: acoustic: bass: 4, mid: 5, treble: 4, midfq: 350hz, gain: 45, level: 90, bright: off, cab: ag1x15, mix: 50
Heartbreaker
Section 1: t-scream: gain: 25, tone: 40, level: 90, balance: 25

I haven't tried it, but if anything, try using the fuzz face model with a graphic eq. see if that works out for you.
I've recently have tested out duplicating the el grande bass fuzz sound on the zoom b3 and came up with some thing different that I think is pretty close to getting that sound. here's what I came up with.
El grande bass fuzz
Section 1: squeak: gain: 40, tone: 50, level: 90, balance: 25
Section 2: bass bb: gain: 10, bass: 3, treble: 2, blend: 40, level: 70
Section 3: monotone: bass: 4, mid: 5, treble: 4, midfq: 300hz, gain: 45, level: 90, char: bright, cab: pt1x15, mix: 50
This patch has a pretty crushing sound. give it a try and see if it works out for you.

That would be something. and some people do adjust settings to their own liking. it takes time to get use to the controls and how the zoom b3 functions.

Imo dig in and fearless and creative. Stacking or driving fuzzes is the trick.

I bought a Zoom B3 some time ago, and thanks to this thread, and CharlieC's one, I'm beginning to really enjoy using it.
At the moment I'm still at the stage of twiddling knobs in my bedroom (You know what I mean!!) and trying out different stuff that you've posted.
I record anything that sounds good, even though I don't think I'll use a lot of it live, but it sure is better than watching rubbish on the telly!
There's so many patches here already, but I was wondering if you've got any pointers for a Macca type sound like "Goodnight Tonight"?
I guess it's a fuzz and some other sort of distortion, but I can't seem to get there...
